EssayReddit started as something it's no longer: a list of "best essay writing services," which is to say a wall of affiliate links dressed up as reviews. That whole genre exists to sell students papers they shouldn't buy. We threw it out.
What's here now is the opposite of that. The premise is simple:
You learn to write by writing, getting honest feedback, and revising. Reddit is one of the best free places to do all three — if you use it as a place to learn, not a place to cheat.
What you'll find

- How to practice the underlying skills so the high-stakes essays get easier.
- Straight answers on AI tools and essay generators — the useful uses and the ones that'll get you in trouble.
- How to spot the accounts that are just selling you something.
What you won't find
- No essay-mill recommendations. Buying an essay is academic misconduct, and we won't point you toward it.
- No affiliate links and no ads. Nothing on this site earns a commission from your clicks.
- No promises that you won't get caught. That's the language of scams, not help.
A note on accuracy
Policies on AI and academic integrity vary by school and change often, and standardized tests change too. Treat everything here as a starting point, and always check your own syllabus, instructor, and official test requirements for what applies to you.
